The service

WorryOrNot sends general, plain-English guidance about publicly reported security news and checks household email addresses against known data breaches. During early access the service is free.

General guidance, not a guarantee

Alerts are general information for households, not professional advice for your specific situation, and not a guarantee that you, your devices, or your accounts are secure. We do our best to be accurate and timely, but we can't promise to cover every security event or to be error-free.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to sign up. Please give accurate contact details and only add email addresses or phone numbers you are allowed to add (for example, your own or your household's).

Texts

If you give a mobile number and agree to texts, we'll text you alerts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Paid plan (later)

We plan to offer a family plan at about $5 per month per household. We'll tell you before paid plans start, and you won't be charged unless you choose to subscribe. Invite codes give the free period shown when you redeem them, can't be exchanged for cash, and may be limited in number or expire.

Cancelling

You can unsubscribe any time with the link in any email or by replying STOP to a text.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, WorryOrNot is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll email subscribers about meaningful changes before they take effect.
